Our Process

We work with clients in an iterative way to design a trip that will work best given your wish list. Our process typically works like this:

• We have an initial call to review your wish list.

• We take your feedback and plan an initial draft of your days so you can see how your dream trip is shaping up.

• Next, we start filling in the details including hotels, flights, activities and transfers for your approval. 

• Every element of your trip is booked and the details are sent in an online itinerary that you can access using a link, download a pdf or through an app, keeping everything handy while you enjoy yourself.

When hiring a travel consultant, someone that has traveled extensively will be able to better help you plan your ideal trip. Chances are when we recommend a restaurant to you in an off-the-beaten path neighborhood in a small Italian village it is because we still have a photo of that unforgettable ragu al cinghiale we ate there set as our phone's screensaver.  

 

About the Founder

Lisa has traveled to over 30 countries and holds a Masters degree in Business.  She honed her research skills, working at top companies such as Research International and HBO and then built an independent research consultancy.  Since then, she founded Tis Travels and uses both her knowledge of the world, her advanced research skills and her network of contacts to design customized trips of a lifetime for her many grateful clients.
